Affiliate Disclosure
CloudScope may earn commissions from some commercial links. This page explains what that means for readers and what it does not mean for our editorial conclusions.
How affiliate links work
If you click an eligible link to a provider and later make a qualifying purchase, CloudScope may receive a commission. The price you pay is not increased by CloudScope because of that commission.
How commercial links are labeled
Commercial outbound links are intended to be identifiable by context and are marked with the appropriate sponsored relationship in page markup where applicable. Affiliate calls to action are visually separated from ordinary editorial links.
What affiliate relationships do not buy
- A positive review or guaranteed inclusion.
- The right to approve an article before publication.
- The right to hide a material limitation.
- A universal “winner” designation when different users should make different choices.
How products are selected
Commercial relevance may influence which buyer questions we choose to research, because purchase decisions are part of the site’s subject matter. Once the article is being evaluated, the criteria should come from the buyer’s problem. A product that does not fit the use case should not be recommended merely because an affiliate program exists.
Prices and promotions can change
Provider prices, discounts, plan names and affiliate terms can change after publication. When a current price is material to an article, we date the verification and encourage readers to confirm the live provider page before purchasing.
